This workshop will be an interactive discussion about prayer and its role in disruptive spiritual activism formed by COVID, global climate crises, surging authoritarian political movements and radical disparities.
Gary Gunderson and Teresa Cutts lead reflections, exercises and dialogue on prayer based on his new book, God and the People: Prayers for a Newer New Awakening. Some have called these heretical prayers for conscientious action. We are Brought to our knees, needing for more than good intentions and clever schemes.
