3 hour workshop Introducing Centering Prayer, the technique, history, theological grounding, contemplation and its relation to Eastern schools of meditation.
This workshop will take place on Zoom; a link will be sent to all registered participants a day ahead. This workshop will examine the challenges opportunities and potential benefits for what the practice of this form of mediation. The format will be a presentation with lots of Q & A.
Rev. Kelly P. Carpenter has been studying, practicing and leading a Centering Prayer group for over 5 years. He is a Spiritual Director certified by the Haden Institute.
